you should not run into that error again that was fixed some nighties ago on cyanogenmod code...

I have this same problem and cannot reboot into recovery or fastboot. It always just goes to the screen that says "type password to decrypt storage"

Can some please help.

Hold Power and vol up for about 10 seconds then hold power and vol down until bootloader loads.

At the risk of sounding dumb, I have to ask. You are saying that as long as aosp roms are up to date with cm, then the encryption bug that this thread was created for is fixed and should not be a problem, correct?
