Talking Kitkat Root LG G Pro w/ TowelRoot

Root KitKat LG G Pro or Any Device W/ TowelRoot

Its real folks, hacker Geohot created an apk file that claims to root any android device. I have personal tried this with my LG G Pro AT&T on KitKat 4.4.2 KOT49l.E98020g and I'm now rooted. Links Below

The method found on this form below allowed me to install clockwork mod recovery onto my device. From there I was able to download FreeGee from the play store to install Twrp Recovery.

Just did it on my E980. Installed Chainfire 1.99 for SuperUser, and then tried Titanium Backup to verify root. Everything is GOOD!

only issue was some confusion as to where the SU apk was stored. Roundly found it, and everything went smoothly!!!

When you've installed that recovery, download Freegee from the Play Store and install CWM 6.0.4.7. It can also backup your EFS partition.

Thanks mate amazing share indeed.
Totally works on my LG G Pro F240. Just download , install and click make it rain. The device reboots and viola! You now have root access.
