What's missing isn't user accessible. It's reserved for the system. Adreno itself reserves 500MB. And you don't need to post the same question across multiple threads.

Yes but I believe once updated to KitKat, the amount might increase just like it happened to my other android device.

What difference does it make? I've never run up against a RAM ceiling in either my N3 or N10.1-14 and I'm a heavy productivity user and push multitasking harder than most people here ever would. Are you having issues with your "other device" or do you just like to see a lot of free RAM that's essentially going unused?

Thanks

Would LOVE to know how?? I have stock rom 4.4.2 and have rooted with towelroot. I am confused how to get a custom recovery using TWRP. I have the new version of TWRP on my tablet and tried to install a customer recovery using this app. It found my device and when i went to install it looked like everything was good. I tried to reboot in recovery and it went into a bootloop. I went back to stock via odin and re rooted with towelroot and now want to try to get custom recovery again so i can install a custom ROM. Can you walk me through it???
