Yeah, it looks like some joke and I am not expecting much from Sony, but we may be surprised, who knows..
Currently on: Xperia T (testing possibly every new ROM)
Old device: Xperia X10 with FeraROM

Even if it gets android 4.4.2 I am going to stick with Omnirom because I'm sick of that ugly sony UI.

No way for kitkat xperia t.
In modern world smartphone live just about 18-24 months. And this time is shrinking...
So, first release date for xperia t is September 2012... it will be soon 24 months.
KitKat - it will be for another 12 months as main android version, @KIT-KAT pay for that.

Fugget abaut all dat.

If you are happy to live with a proven solid and matured OS stick with 4.12. It is much better than most people seem to think.

If your warranty is over however, unlock the bootloader and use 4.4

I recommend Omnirom for a small, streamlined, stabil even at high speed just like a Porsche. Or if you are looking for a Merc use Dirty Unicorns (don't bother abt the silly name) for more feature and individualisation settings you even knew existed, but amazingly running on a smaller system footprint than 4.3. Note: that even Omni has several features 4.3 can only get with resources using add-ons and mods.

That's my opinion only, but it might be well possible the same will happen to you: Wonder why at all they stick to 4.3!

My phone was like new after I stepped up that ladder.
