I changed my build prop for AT&T signal icons and sfinder and quick connect went away. Win win.

Remount /system rw.
Delete existing SystemUI.apk and odex file in /system/priv-app/
Copy this version in. Ensure permissions are correct.
Reboot and enjoy.

Someone else less lazy can make it a flashable zip if they want.
this totally changes the look of my notification? is this because i am running a s5 like rom on my note 2 (DN3 rom for note 2)? do you know another way that i can get the same notification as you?

Could anyone please add some more noob friendly instructions and faqs? And combine the info in this thread in one post.

- suggest file manager app (total commander?)
- Don't leave file manager in between
- rename two files (or copy to backup?)
- replace both files with the .apk or just the odexed one?
- where does the apk come from? At&t s5?
- did the original apk change in the latest rom (G900FXXU1ANE2)
- what exactly does the apk all contain? The whole task panel? Including task bar?
- why is the posted apk only 2.3mb in stead of the 4.6mb of the original file? And why doesn't it have the kitkat icon?
- how to use the zip file? Is it possible to use it if rooted with towelroot.com and stock bootloader?

Maybe OP of this thread would be so good as to make an overview with instructions, faq and attachments in the first post. I'm also willing to make a new thread and maintain the first post of it if someone can answer my questions.
