Default 3rd party apps for the G3's IR blaster?

Does anybody know if the IR blaster on the LG G3 will be open to third party apps or will it be like the G2.

I want to know this as well. I asked LG in Twitter but obviously no reply.

Default 3rd Party Apps Support

I hate to resurrect a dead thread, but I am curious about this too. Are the drivers for the IR blaster locked down in the G3, or does it work with third party apps?

If someone who got the phone could test a few third party apps I would appreciate the favor.

Was gonna test this for you but couldn't find a decent free one. Why not use the stock remote? Pretty cool having it in the notif menu.

Nice to have options but also for AOSP.

Has anyone tried Smart IR Remote or something like that?
