Anyone found a fix for SOD on KitKat ROMs yet?

Tip us?

Well it took 5 days... But it finally happened again. Still clueless as to what causes it.

I'll press the home button and/or power and sometimes the phone will wake up, but usually when it happens, it will just reboot itself. Very annoying. I don't have to do a battery pull. I'm MDK, no safestrap.
Is the issue still happening to you too?

I used some Bluetooth headphones earlier and left BT on with WiFi and haven't had the issue in over a day. Anyone else wanna try it?

I've been using the Echo Rom and I can't say it doesn't happen anymore....but it's very infrequent. Used to be once a day minimum. Now its maybe 1 or 2 times a week. And it's weird....I have no idea what triggers it.
HTC Incredible (AMOLED) rooted S-off
HTC Rezound unlocked & rooted
Unlocked MDK Rooted Galaxy S4

If it ain't broke....fiddle with it to try to make it better.

Same here but with CM11 (4.4.4) running nightly builds and never saw any issues which were KK related. I am also on MDK baseband which may or may not have something to do with it.

I'm safestrap and never had a SOD on kitkat based roms like echo, hyperdrive or baja
S4 powered by hashcode 3.72 safestrap and Echo V26 kitkat

I believe these guys have even had this issue on stock MDK.

Seems maybe like it could be some driver or something idk.

I'm still amazed that with the logcats they've made no one seems to be able to pin point it

I don't recall ever having the issue pre-KitKat, though it is possible. I think my next step will be to Odin back to MDK and then flash 4.4 and restore nothing. If it persists, I can only guess it's a rare hardware issue.
