I've only used version 6 something and 8.1 for a period of maybe half an hour and it's been quite a while. It should be compatible though unless maybe you got it off the international forum, which in that case i'm not sure. Should say if it is or isn't though.

Switch between DH's GPe and stock sense. Prefer the clean, minimalist experience over "extra" things I would never use. It's either stock sense or stockish GPe for me.

Love DH's GPE. It's so freakin' stable, and it has all the AOSP greatness I love. I feel like I have a Nexus with this ROM.

Also, AOSP gives you so many options for Xposed, and I've gone a bit crazy with it. Here's my Xposed choices:

Boot Manager
XBlast Tools (for Lockscreen Notifications & Appbar ONLY) and Gravity Box for everything else. Tricky to make them play nice together, but doable.
Heads Up Notifications - I don't like the Gravity Box implementation, the blacklist is much easier to use with this module
Statusbar Volume - to get the volume bar out of the way. Slightly buggy, but beneficial because no more annoyingly-located volume bar
Tinted Status Bar - so awesome if you take the time to figure out how to set it up
Xposed GEL Settings - wouldn't use the Google Now Launcher without it.

I'm surprised by the results since they aren't consistent with the the number of views/replies on the rom threads.

Dh gpe is definitely my favorite. Longest I've ever kept a phone not just because of that rom but all of the great development in general.

I ran AOSP roms on my old Gnex all the time since there wasn't any choice. Its hard to leave Sense 6 after using AOSP for a long time. Running CleanRom 1.3 right now.
Galaxy Nexus (Second Owner) - Whatever rom I feel like.
HTC Thunderbolt (Dead)
