TBH, I S-OFFed 4 HTC phones using the wire trick and never had any problem, but hey if there's a new method that is safer it is best.
Rumrunner does work great. Thing is, if I'm right undeadking has a windows 8 computer (incorrect drivers), and no way to use rumrunner. So I know there is a new method out. Its called sunshine... http://theroot.ninja
You can download I think, and it'll tell you if it'll work or not without you paying. Rezound might be to old though.

I created an ubuntu live disk to do the wire trick some time ago and couldn't believe how easy it was to boot into a temporary ubuntu environment. He should run rumrunner from one of those.

Quick question does 1.1 suffer from the blank OS in boot loader? I just ran into this issue with my m7 on this version which was just recently updated updated to 1.2. Thanks so much for maintaining this.
