Hi my wife recently got this phone and has the same issue device number D6503. She is going to change it tomorrow but we are unclear as weather to demand a different make and model ie HTC one M8. We would really rather keep the Sony as it is otherwise a beautiful and vastly capable device with great specs.

Any further update or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The poor call quality on the other end could be related to the noise cancellation, it cancel out the noise as well as your voice.

I got the same problem in the first week.
But now the call quality is normal.
I think it was due to the network I used.

Default Help xperia z2 call quality

hello to all,

I take this post to a question.

Also I have a prototype xperia z2 is the same as that on the market and it works perfectly except for calls.

The people I call hear an echo of their own voice.

Someone managed to solve the problem?

It seems that all the prototypes have.

I have changed software and kernel, but it was useless.

Tips?

Obviously if you use the microphone with headphones works.

Thanks for the help

greetings

Call quality has been a long time issue, even during Sony Ericsson era.

The caller hearing themselves and echo problem has been resolved in 17.1.2.A.0.314 update. no OTA yet though, only through PC Companion.
