I think you need to read up on buster99's fix and tailor it to the TF201 (his is designed for the TF300)

Default Root and app install

I just finished doing the updates and thanks for a great ROM.
Here are my issues.

1. No root.
2. Apps take hours to upgrade.
3. Camera doesn't work as many have posted earlier.

I thought I saw in a post that you had to change file permissions or make a change in setting to get root.
Any suggestions?

Found the post on root. Disregard. Now rooted.
Still having issue with long time to upgrade apps.
Nothing I can do if you have lots of apps to upgrade - it will take a long time - this is the slow IO you are experiencing. The way the rom works is it gives more resources to the app currently demanding it. Turn off auto app updates in the play store (the more you have to do the slower it will get) and try to keep them updated by checking it every few days.

Default much better

After a reboot things starting working much faster.
Video sometimes is a list shakey but everything else seems to be running fine.
