Let me know what's the name of the equalizer, both displayed and the .apk file name and I'll check that.

Well, what I meant is rescanning your mediaserver. Download THIS and run it once, then wait a while and you'll be good.

Thank you, but the empty genres persist. New tracks appear as they should, but the empty genres do not go away.

I'm running the latest unoffical SlimKat on a Z1 Compact if that helps.

Please do wipe /cache and /dalvik-cache in the recovery. This won't be nessesary later, I just want to know where the problem is.

I did the following:

>clear Apollo's Data
>uninstall
>rebooted to recovery
>wiped cache and dalvik
>rebooted
>let stand for three minutes for Android to scan SD
>ran RescanSD
>installed Apollo
>empty genres still there

Is it possible for a conflict to arise because of a previous, uninstalled music player? I installed Apollo before uninstalling PlayerPro and in fact the PlayerPro folder is still present currently.

Well, that might be possible. Please try deleting it and report back. Thank you for all your hassle in improving this player.

No problem. So I did all the same steps with the addition of the removal of the PlayerPro and Mediago folders before doing the other steps. Problem still present.

Alright I found the solution in the form of a three year old app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...acleaner&hl=en

Now I can finally use Apollo as my daily driver.

Awesome job with this! Hope to see further development. Couple of bugs to report:

- In a playlist, dragging a song to re-order upwards so that the list scrolls results in a crash. No crash for downwards dragging.
- Also, Next/Prev while paused auto-plays the track (should be kept paused)
- Some issues with the widget on lockscreen (4.2+). The widget kind of disappears after doing an action.

Keep up the good work!
