Awesome.

**OFF TOPIC**
For those who like having fun with Chromecast... http://forum.xda-developers.com/hard...utmk=224118680

Unlocks "Cast screen" feature in Chromecast app. Works well.

With he new mpact ROM - twrp recovery addition...
Will my cwm backups work in twrp or not?

Otherwise could I simply replace the boot.IMG with a recent cwm one before flashing the ROM... Ifff I did want to stick with CWM for instance.

Nope, twrp can't detect cwm backups, and the opposite is right as well,
I personally suffer from this problem allot

I see. I will stick with cwm in that case, as it does what is intended of a recovery. Besides I'm also a big fan of anything Koush is involved in

Thanks for responses.

On a separate note. Can anyone confirm if when opening the camera after not being used in a while that the display freezes momentarily with a white hue before the camera app becomes functional?
(This has occurred on my phone for many iterations of this PAC ROM.)

All hail the koush

About the camera, it's Sony's bug, also found on stock.
4.4 stock update fixes that supposedly, but CM based roms, like pac, still use the old blobs
We have to wait till someone does the porting, or maybe do it ourselves

Here's a build with TWRP included.
I'm not sure if all works as intended, but my tests say so
Please report any issues you find here.
Oh and if you want to update but are worried, then DO A BACKUP OF EVERYTHING ON YOUR PHONE TO THE PC

Happy TWRPing
Thanks for this! TWRP is so much more user friendly. Stopped using CWM years ago.
There are a few ROMS out there that feature both recoveries, so that is also an option.

I downloaded the nightly thinking TWRP was already in it. Negatory, for anyone wondering.

I used the one in the quote I think, just have to use volume up instead of down at start up... I think.

Shame about the camera bug. It gets annoying for when you need to take a photo fast. We will wait patiently hopefully it gets some attention. This bug would be my only gripe since having experimented with this ROM for well over a month now. At least the camera works.

Tried both and both work, maybe you're flashing some other recovery or kernel after flashing the latest build?
