I have the AT&T version as well. If I go into about device in the settings menu I can watch the signal drop when I put this bumper on.

I just tried that and mine didn't budge. Perhaps your LTE area is a different frequency range than in mine?

It's a possibility. I'm on LTE band 13, but I'm not sure what the frequency is.
