Why do you want to use a outdated kernel? Surely this works with this rom Dorimanx-v6.0.x-d802-kernel-07-15-14-signed give it a try

Well for me furnace kernel has not got the commit for the screen cover which is a little annoying and there have been lots of big updates since his last release. Give it a go and I am sure you will be pleased.

That isn't likely to work as this is based on CM, not AOSP

Vanir is not CM, it is AOSP. AOSP Kernels do not work on CAF based ROMs.
