yeah that's my plan. i figure the mod is what's causing it not to stick.
I got that on first go. Charging animations wouldn't stick either. Instead of overwriting the smali files I erased then added new ones. Same for the apk. Don't know why that would matter and maybe it didn't. All I know is it works fine now. Looks kick ass to me.

Well I need to update my ROM base anyway so not a big deal at all.

I had already implemented 1% battery into the system ui and was previously using the xbattery themer.
Your mod does work, however within a min or two it reverts back to my stock battery.
Any ideas?

Ok it seems a few are having this issue so to fix you need to first:

The line you have modified find android:height="wrap_content" and android:width="wrap_content" and chafe to:

android:height="0.0dip" and android:width="0.0dip"

Now add this directly under it:

Code:
<com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.MinitBattery android:id="@id/battery" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_marginBottom="0.33000004dip" android:layout_marginStart="5.0dip" />
Recompile and fix I will update op with more instructions.
