It still happens to me on my t-mobile m8. Latest stable build. I also had it on the alpha build.

So basically it was unusable in my opinion cause I like to know what type of signal I really have. I have the AT&T M8 if that makes any difference. Anyways has that been fixed yet? I am not sure if it was a PA issue or a M8 issue but can anyone give me info on if it is fixed or if there is a fix out there for the issue.

Yeah everything is up to date. It doesn't really bother me. I was just saying it does still happen. It didn't happen on sense.

Does anyone know if the Verizon m8 needs or has any radio updates?

Check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2723159

It has all the latest firmware information for Verizon and instructions for install. Let's try not to clog the PA thread anymore though with stuff that is not directly related to PA. Thanks

Interesting cause my AT&T M8 is unlocked and I am using it with T-Mobile so maybe there is something related causing the issue.

Whatever they are doing, they certainly are keeping it somewhat secret... I thought GPL meant their source code had to be readily available, my question is, should it not be very obvious what they are up to? Or does that just apply to what they have released on XDA/public? In other words... There is a lot of coding going on we just can't see?

I'm not encharged on the licensing but I guess we have it covered. Anyway a couple of workarounds that you may be interested in:
- Don't license it until you release the code. So there are no issues as code is private and ours. We can license it when we wish.
- Use Apache instead of GPL is kinda open and you can do such stuff.

Note: I don't remember what practice we are doing to keep it covered but we are legal.

See you!
