if you are into an area of no net work, will it still work?

Good question. I am in a city so not often without data in one form or another. Not had the problem since I installed clocksync but when I take it off have real problems even when it is supposed to take time from the network. Bazzan

Try to explain it.
My time changes randomly after reboot. Doesnt matter if i set it to manual or automatic.
If i am in Flight-mode (over night) clock sync doenst work and the time changes, BUT

if i do the setting from my previus post short time after reboot the time is correct in automatic mode.
if i turn the flight mode on, the time is stable over night.
i dont need to use clock sync

i have never tried plane mode. but my question is through what network does clocksync work? Mobile internet? or Mobile phone call net work? I assumed it is mobile internet, and the same to the automatic time set.

OK - clock sync faq told me:

- clock syn uses ntp protocol -> clock sync uses mobile internet (if you turn mobile data to off or flight mode - clock sync doesnt work)
- clock sync faq question one told me that automatic mode uses NITZ and this is a provider feature which should work without mobile data ?!

but yes you are right, if you set your time to manual it should run stable and not change randomly

DONATE TO ME
Sorry, I am not at home, I'm working in a restaurant this week. Will be at home tomorrow, and Arco hopefully found it out, which makes this weird time issue. Stay tuned, update tomorrow or in the worst case, on Monday.

I'm 18 years old, and I'm doing my best, to support my devices: Samsung Galaxy Express, hTC Incredible S, hTC HD2.
