NOOB question. I just got a Note 3 TGY 32GB version myself. After rooting it and installing a recovery, tried to flash many Custom ROMs but none would boot. From this thread it seems the problem is with the HK Note 3 pit itself. I just want to know that if I use this method, will I be able to successfully install any custom ROMs on the device? My device details
BL : N9005ZHUENF1
Baseband : N9005XXUBMI6
CSC : N9005ZZHENF1
CSC Country : TGY
Thanks in anticipation of any help.

HELP HELP HELPMy friend tried this method on his HK Note 3 32 GB which was running the latest KK. After flashing he flashed the UK ROM from Sammobile. Everything went alright except for the fact that there is no network. Everything else is working fine. Baseband and IMEI show 'Unknown'. Tried region lock away but failed. Please help.

@ FeralFire please help.

Default Beware

I am now throwing away my 32 GB Hong Kong Note 3 which after rigorous trying for more than one month still has Baseband UNKNOWN and IMEI null/null.
Beware, use this method with extreme caution. I have lost my baseband/imei using it. It was all perfect while I was on X-Note 4.3 . Also, the need to backup EFS is not emphasized by op.

Default help?

Hello,

I've followed the instructions in the OP, but at system.img.ext4, I get "FAIL! (Ext4)". I have a 32GB TGY handset.

Any ideas?
