Wow...phone has only been out a short while and I see at least 10 ROM's. Looks like a lot of (free) development to me.

I know the other models have a Cyanogenmod edition - are we assuming that this will get the same treatment? I saw that ROMing and rooting won't void the warranty, which is awesome...but where are those options? Currently the only thing holding me back from buying this is that it has 4.3 (Color OS) rather than KitKat.

Thanks,

The Find 7 is officially supported by Cyanogenmod and the nightlies (along with a Snapshot) have been released every night since the start of July.

Other ROMs available are Gummy and Nameless and numerous others are compatible. Many 7A roms work fine on the QHD, including CM11. Don't worry about ColorOS, most power users remove it in favor of something else within the first few days, I know I did.

EDIT: Just realised this post is three months old. Oh well.

Default Create the same thread in different section Find 7a & Find 7/s/QHD

Just suggesting some to make it easy for find 7/s/QHD user.
I hope that the ROM developer for find 7a can make the same thread in find 7/s/QHD because some of them can support both model.
And, we have the section already made by our moderators. So, take the benefit. Make it clear for the users.
At least find 7/s/QHD users wouldn't curious and ask the same question on most find 7a threads.
So, we will have clean thread. I'm just suggesting, not forcing anyone.

As far as i know there is like two devices with identical hardware and 1440p. LG G3 and Find 7. How is the Find 7's performance? Not laggy at all? Would love to see a video where someone can show it.

I believe there is also a new Samsung galaxy s5 that has the higher resolution screen. It might be a bit smaller...Sorry I can't remember right now. I'll try to remember to look for it when I get home.
