[Q] [REQ] Is anyone able to port a custom recovery for Moto G LTE (xt1045)?

Wouldn't it be grand if manufactures would just put either TWRP or CWM on the devices to begin with? Maybe both and the user can choose which one to install and use.

I too am a loyal TWRP user and will also wait for a version that is Fit, Form, and Function confirmed and tested. Thanks guys!

There is already one... Just search the forum... Only a few sdcards (mostly UHS-1 speeds) are not compatible...

It would. But the general public can't be trusted with that much control - as evidenced by hundreds of threads on these very fora. Manufacturer warranty returns for bricked and malfunctioning devices would skyrocket.
