Here is a build for 7s (QHD) ONLY
https://goo.im/devs/maxwen/omni-find...7-HOMEMADE.zip

This includes the headset changes from kristofpetho since they just work
until we figured out whats really required. Lights and camera (with 4k recording) work
Also includes the latest kernel enhancements like cpuquiet hotplugging.

yes it went down from 42 to 16 during that
Somehow it git stuck on (re)booting but there is no obvious reason in the log
But this smells fischi - androidboot.mode=reboot

Still no luck for me, using koss portapro 3-button headphones. Play-pause button works, but audio-in during calls or sound recording does not.

Well - thats the reason why ROM developers normally refuse to support anything
except the stock wired headphones of a device

Got an error says "This package is for find7a,FIND7 devices, this is a find7"

hmm i assume this is caused by all capital letters for the model number? By the way i was trying to dirty flash from the 7/26 build. Maybe i should full wipe and try again?

Currently I run the 20140701 ROM with kristofpetho's Kernel - I love my wired headset, too

According to your changelog there is more or less a new Kernel for my 7a, the rest applies to 7s.

Question: Is it safe just to flash the new Kernel and does it incorporate the necessary modifications kristofpetho made to use wired headsets?

Thank you!

Or you could use my kernel I compiled just after midnight, it has the headset patch as well

You are using gummy TWRP right?

Unfortunately they dont use stock recovery device name which is FIND7
The reason why it should be FIND7 is also to allow flashing of stock images
with this recovery.

Dont know if their latest builds still have that issue.
We are currently in the process to finalize a "official" TWRP build for find7/7a

Thank you for the new Kernel but unfortunately Wifi doesn't work for me. The last build OK for me is 20140712.
