Neither from recovery, nor via fastboot, nor via adb, /data is erasable. Recovery is unable to mount /data !!!
Changed recovery to 188.8.131.52 to get access to external sdcard atleast. For that I had to unlock bootloader. (2 days ago I SOFF'ed and locked bootloader to get fingerprint scanner working)
I dont know what to do.
please help me...
After much trial and errors, solved this issue.
I installed TWRP and tried to format /data. But as usual /data was unmountable.
So I changed the format method to use "rm -rf" instead of format command.
It was able to do rm -rf /data.
Then unchecked "use rm -rf...." option and wiped the device. It was able to wipe the device now.
Then got rid of TWRP and installed CWM 184.108.40.206. Flashed rom which was present in external sdcard.
The rom booted successfully...
Just keeping this reply and orignal post to make sure that if anybody faces such issue, it will be helpful...
