ROOTED!

Solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=52214999
Thanks to olegat0r for searching non-stop for root and translating the methods.

Tip: for those who are still having error about : E: No such file or directory or cant mount sdcard. Try to format you External SD to EXT4. It worked for me.

Default No root for L70

Its now been nearly 2months since the last post about trying to root the L70 from Metro. It doesn't look good for any further developments with this device. My guess is that there just aren't enough owners amongst the devs to have them find a way to root the device.

I wish I had known that LG would make it so difficult for anyone to work on this phone, with its shortage of memory and inability to move most of the apps to the sd card thereby making this no better than devices from five years ago with their limited memory and no way to improve them. Pretty much a waste of time of money.

Smile EASY ROOT

Maybe what I'm about to mention has been mentioned in other XDA threads, but obviously not here as i went thru all 4 pages and this thread will be one of the first ones viewed when googling on how to root the L70 (MS323):

towelroot.com

Dowload it directly off your phone cause your antivirus is going to eat you alive. Click the weird symbol on the page.
Install the app, the rest is obvious.

It roots you even without having to reboot, just download a root checker from GP and install your favorite SU app.
Now if we can only have the bootloader unlocked, we can unlock this thing's true potentials. I own 2 different LG G2 variants
and I know that if that monster had its bootloader worked, this cheap device cannot be any harder, unless LG is afraid that
things like overclocking or custom roms will turn this into a beast...
LG G2 (LS980) ***MAIN*** - Stock rooted ZVC

LG G2 (D802) - Stock

LG L70 (MS323) - Stock Rooted

LG Optimus G (LS970) - Stock ZVC Rooted (Replaces my damaged one...)

LG Optimus G (LS970) - Blue Lightning-4.4.2-LS970, Screen cracked...

Galaxy Nexus (Sprint) - AOSB 4.4.2, Sold
HTC One S (S4) - Dark Jelly 2013.10.11 (CM10.2), Sold
Nexus 7 (2012) 16gb - SmoothRom 5.2 w/ M-Kernel, SOLD
Droid X - CM7, Sold!

Default Towel Root

I have an lg l70
Model number LGMS323
on android 4.4.2
kernel 3.4.0+
build Number KOT491.MS32310b
software version MS32310b

and used towel root easily downloaded from towelroot.com . Go into settings and enable downloading of applications from unknown sources, then download and install Towel Root. open the app and press make it rain. if the phone doesn't reboot than you should be rooted, but download root checker to make sure. Then go into the Play-store and download the superuser app of you choice. I prefer Super Su.

If you need to use your manufacturers warranty simply go into super su settings and scroll all the way to the bottom and select full unroot
