Hello xda-members,
I have a problem using the recovery on the asus memopad smart ''10 (ME301T)
I want to flash a specific rom for me301t but the recovery is so safe that i am not able to flash it

twrp logbook:
Full SELinux support is present.
Installing '/sdcard/Download/cromi-kk-me301t20140717.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.
This package is for "me301t" devices; this is a "tf300t"
E:Error flashing zip '/sdcard/Download/cromi-kk-me301t20140717.zip'

Updating partition details...

Anyway, if someone wants to temporarily solve the problem:

Open the ROM's zip you want to flash, go under META-INF/com/google/android, copy the updater-script in another folder, then open this file as a text file, delete the following lines in updater script:

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "me301t" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "me301t" || abort("This package is for \"me301t\" devices; this is a \"" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "\".");

and save the file..at this point, replace the original file with the one you modified, and the problem should vanish

Sent from my LG-P880 - Beanstalk 4.4.4 - Iodak v10 kernel - using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Default Boot Loader and Recovery

I am on CM11 nightlies. Tablet slowing down so will do a clean install. My CM11 updates never updated the recovery. So I think I will switch over to TWRP.

How do I find the exact number/version of my bootloader?

Flash the latest asus stock firmware
I downloaded the lastest firmware from Asus site...

I followed http://www.transformerforums.com/for...bly-tf201.html
1. Download the latest version of Android for your tablet. Make sure you download the correct SKU version.
A. Go into settings, About tablet, and look for your Build Number, There are two letters (such as US,WW, TW, etc.) that is your SKU. When downloading the zip from ASUS', you must download the correct SKU zip.
2. Decompress downloaded .zip file (it will be another .zip)
3. Make sure your Micro SDcard is formatted Fat32. Then put the zip file in the root of the Micro SDcard. Leave name as is.
4. A pop-up should show up in the notification window telling you there is an update and if you would like to perform the update.
5. If the pop-up does not show up, then try rebooting your device. If it still does not show up, try performing a cold boot.
6. Allow the tablet 5-10 minutes to perform the update.

but no popup asking me to install update...

Two things,
1 are you using a custom rom?
2 do you use custom recovery?
