If you have root, go ahead and install an app called Battery Saver on the play store. Its by some company called Gejos enterprise, and for once its an app that isn't bullsh*t. It doesn't play with radios or anything at all, it doesn't affect any use or features, but it really does help. Its my favorite app because it works so well. I used to be 10-15% at bed but that took me to 30-35%. Its well worth it. If you're wondering, their other apps work too. So much better than Juice Defender. I have an AT&T S5 and I swear this is honest

I've just downloaded the Battery Saver app from Gejos.
Looks strange because it don't have any UI? Of course you have the ability to enable the feature and remove ongoing notifications, but no unnecessary settings in the app.
I will give it a try and see what's happens to my battery life
