It's possible for only the data connections to be damaged/faulty within the port. If you're an experienced electronics repairer, but otherwise I'd get a professional to do it.

Timmaa,

Two different computers, two different cables, The phone goes straight into USB debugging. I can transfer data back and forth. HTC Sync Manager opens...and says "No phone connected". I'm running AOKP 4.2 MR 1. I think this started when HTC updated the Sync Manager. I installed the new version on both computers.

Is anyone else out there having this issue?
