There is a root checker in the service menu. But none in Download Mode like the G2 had.

Ok Thanks, if you uproot with supersu does it remove that root checker in service menu??

Im not sure about un-rooting in SuperSu, I wouldn't 100% trust that. But flashing back to stock deffo removes it.

It will unroot your device just make sure to read what it says

I never owned a G2 so have no clue

maybe you could help me...
I try to get a CWM Recovery for the G3 (D855). I get different images from dev/block/...XY -> like boot, recovery, abootf. When I try to decompile them using apktool I get an message "gunzip: invalid magic"...
Have you any advice for me?

As soon as I use the root tool and press a key, it just straight away attempts to flash the file, and as the phone is still rebooting it obviously doesn't work.

Does anyone else have this problem?
