I wanted to ask if anyone knows if this procedure http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2696260 will work for rooting the Samsung S4 mini SGH-i257 AT&T version? I'm not looking for a custom a rom just root access for the stock rom that the phone comes with - thanks in advance for any answers -

Tried towelroot 3 times but no go on my SGH-i257 U.S. AT&T - root checker still reports "no root"

Thank you for your replies but towelroot didn't work - I emailed an adb logcat report to them at the address on the website - see what happens?

In towelroot try changing the modstrings. Click "welcome to towelroot v3" 3 times and enter "1337 0 1 7380 4 0" in the text box.
