I'm running Windows 8 and have any problem installing the two drivers needed to install CWM.
I can install the drivers from LG United, But after I unzip the other driver file and try to run install.exe file, it runs for about three seconds and then stops And gives me an error asking me if the file ran properly. So I tried to run in compatibility mode using Windows 7 Windows Vista and Windows XP Without any luck.
Now when I put my phone in to the computer all it says is that the USB device is unrecognized.

Any help or guidance in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks

For anyone interested... after i install zippy kernel 1.2 (from android forums), i use it with @zeppelinrox' v6 supercharger, KAK & 3g turbocharger.. using wheatley governor and sio scheduler. I get an extremely good balance of speed and battery. Highly recommend this setup.

Also, there are links to these in my post 2 below this one!

Here's a link to zippy kernel:
http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=864723

V6 supercharger:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276

Performance control:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2444376

Just install zippy in cwm and reboot. Performance control to set governors. And you can find all info for v6 supercharger & the other scripts in it's thread. Enjoy

Also i forgot to mention that on stock kernel i found that enabling kernel same page merging and also bulletproof apps (you can get this with KAK or Performance control) made the phone laggy, havent bothered trying it on zippy. I would just leave it off but if you do try it and it works well let us know!

4.4.4 update
Can anyone answer me about the new kitkat update? Is the ms323 going to be updated OTA, or what? I've read all over online, but I can't seem to find a solid answer anywhere. Plz and thank you.

Is there any way to use ROM Toolbox Terminal Emulator to unlock the bootloader, and then install CWM?

Yea but now you have no recovery...why erase recovery?

But if he wanted to flash recovery to make download mode keycombo boot to recovery you would:
fastboot erase laf
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash laf recovery.img
fastboot flash recovery laf.img (optional. If you want fastboot instead of download mode, do not run this command.) (use "su, reboot recovery" in terminal emulator to access fastboot/download mode when booted in phone or from CWM recovery in the advanced section use the reboot recovery)
