Thumbs up Oppo Find 7 - (x9076)

  • + Really nice packaging (inc. the cardboard incasing)
  • + Solid built phone
  • + Stunning Display (No yellow tint)
  • + Fast Charging
  • + Ringtones and Notification Sounds
  • - Battery Drainage
  • - ColorOS lack of customisation of icons and the homepage (Changing the number of columns + icon packs)
Current device: Oppo Find 7 (x9076)
'Diverse Ex-devices': iPhone (Original), (iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4s) Black, iPhone 5 (White), LG G2 (Intl. White), One Plus One (Black Sandstone)
Tablets: Not mainstreaming atm. (Until I find the 'prefect' one)

Strange. Because I only get 1 to 2 percent drain per night (8 hrs).

Apologies, I wasn't clear, battery drainage quite high when on-screen.

Finally received my Find 7 QHD today after waiting a week due to the first one being lost in transit and I have to say it was worth the wait.

I agree with most of what you said, the fast charge is required for such fast battery drain when using the phone. I don't mind ColorOS which is good because I'm not interested in rooting the device or using custom ROM's (respect to those that do).

I took the screen protector off, the top right corner of it didn't sit right. Just waiting for the case to turn up so I can take the phone out with me. I'm not bothered about screen protection but a case is a must after dropping my LG G Pro 2.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6833 Black (Current device)
OPPO Find 7 X9076 Astro Black (Finally arrived)
LG G Pro 2 D838 32GB White (Sold on)

Received the Oppo Find 7a, despite the screen being a bit larger than I'm used to I'm enjoying the phone. I'm coming from the HTC Amaze so this is a significant leap specs wise. Couple issues though-

1) Faint yellow tint near bottom of screen, not that noticeable though. I've read that others have this issue so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

2) The 7a was not able to read my Sandisk 16gb SD card, the phone wouldn't even turn on with it inside! Take it out however and the phone boots right up. Went to the store to buy another brand of SD card and all is well now.

Looking forward to using this phone on a daily basis.

That is strange. I use SanDisk sd cards for all my phones and both of the ones I have work on my Oppo Find 7a.

Yeah it didn't make any sense, I even put the card back in my old phone and used an adapter to make it read in my laptop and both were able to recognize and access the SD disk without any issues. Guess my particular Oppo hates SanDisk.

I won my Find 7 through an Oppo contest. What happens with the warranty if I sell the device?
