How to recover deleted media files

My friend today accidentally deleted some photos and videos from my phone.
Whats the free way to reciver them.

If they were stored in external card then easily you can get those back but if in internal memory then Iíve no idea, an expert may help you.

If stored in external card then google it for a free file recovery software, take the card out and plug it with a memory card reader and run the software to recover those files. Make sure after you deleted those files you shouldnít store or write the memory card, do as less as possible. If the partition where the files were stored, if that overwrite it could goes difficult to recover.

If in internal memory then if you can mount the internal memory as a usb drive, Not as a Media Device. Then probably you can do the same with that software. But Iím not sure about that, never tried.

Also look for any apps for android if available, iím not sure.

- 1st of all, do not make any changes to the storage, i.e do not copy or edit any files ...

I already recovered by hexmob app but have downloaded the app u mentioned its nice.
