great idea but none of these type of apps work on the mega i9205, and thats with the platform.xml line ALREADY in, I'm sitting here still looking at the "SD card is blank..." notification after four cards and multiple format attempts - did Google really think no one would mind this????

I've already been burned with the tablets, now I can't even update my phone without dealing with this growing walled garden bull****!

I guess I'll be keeping my jellybeaned note 2 around for a loooooong time... and it will be my last android anything, I've had enough!
Insert something witty/profound/stupid here.

Hello,

I own a Nexus 5 and 7 (both using 4.4.4) and this solution doesn't work on either of them.

I'm trying to write on a Corsair Voyage GO 64GB. What I discovered though, is that I could delete files...

My 2 cents.

Thank you very much for this works perfectly on my Z1C

Just one question I'm a bit ocd about my app drawer can I uninstall this app now the write permissions have been changed? I assume it won't reverse the work?

Thank you

Hi everybody,

I just bought a UK HTC 802W that I updated immediately to Kitkat 4.4.2 and Sense 6 with online builtin apdating fonction.
Then I rooted it, installed TWRP recovery.
My problem is to recover r/w rights on sd.
I tried all possible way to modify Platform.xml without success.
SDfix is not working, when I click on continue, black screen, reboot and no change

I am quite desperate as Titanium is not able to write its backup on sd and time is passing without any up to date backup available.

Does anybody have a clue?

my kernel is 3.4.10-g3dd1028

The problem I'm having is that I can't move apps to the SD card. The option is not there under app info any longer and third party apps like Final Apps2SD all report a failure to move the app..

The SDFix app reports that the change was not necessary due to r/w access already being present. Another app on the Play Store called KitKat External SD Fixer reports the same problem..

Am I doing something wrong?

Phone is an S4 Mini GT-i9195, rooted, running LiquidSmooth latest build 4.4.4. Also a 32g Class 10 Sandisk Ultra SD..
