In "s-off" firewater screen the "reboot (important)" button doesn't work.
Is my phone supposed to reboot?

Also your software crashes at start after update in XP.

And it downloads "universal ADb drivers" but it won't install them. XP says "installer package could not be opened. Verify that it exists and that you can access it or verify that it is a valid Windows Installer package" - FIXED, I renamed your folder that's why it didn't work.

Still, In "s-off" firewater screen the "reboot (important)" button doesn't work.

Thumbs up VZW issue

So the newer version of M8 is unable to be unlocked through HTCDev. ToolKit will not work for us.... But I just wanted to say great job on this toolkit. Very easy to use and UI is very nice! Hoping that Firewater Method gets an update soon but very unlikely with the release of SunShine. Keep up the great work!

HTC DEV unlock does not work with Verizon, we get an MID error MID (Model ID) which means Verizon made HTC block our versions of the M8 on their site. (Much like they did for the M7, except those of us luckily who bought on release day were able to sneak in the 24 hours before it was shut down and blocked through MID like is now, and the m8 is (for Verizon))

as for the superuser, that is something that I think could be tried, don't hold me if anything happens to your phone, go at your own risk. I've never used a toolkit so I am not sure, wait for the OP to comment first, perhaps. We have adb working as I was able to extract the Verizon /System using adb pull /system - command.
Root would be very nice even if it's just superuser, I would de-bloat haha.

Sonic is checking to see if his java card will have the correct diag files to give S-OFF, he did a great job doing S-OFF for the M7 community before a software method came.
Is HTCDEV unlock still a problem with the new versions on Verzon ? because i wanna try it on someones phone but i dont want to brick it.
thanks !
