for technicality, since our nexus 10 has a 1080 display, displaying 1080p videos through youtube on the nexus 10 "should" make a difference to naked eye, right?

Hi,

Depends on the video! There are some videos that you can see the difference, while some you can't see much. Arch Enemy's music video War Eternal looks amazing on 1080p IMHO .
