Yepp, I did it on my 5120. Wiped only Dalvik and Cache. Only issue was that the device was using alot of battery until it was recharge the day after, witch is not uncommon.
Now everything has settled and running smoothly...
Yet another thanks to Civato...

Sent from my Note 8, GT-N5120 running CivZ FlexNote ROM v1.8, based on NE4 and CivZ SphereKat v5.1 kernel.

Default lag on 2.1 on my n5100

After flashing the latest rom
my n5100 become extremely laggy especially in app drawer and windows animations
Tried different things and realised that turning off hardware overlay in developer options will solve this problem somehow
so is there a permanent solution for this. ?

...
and could any one really solve or point out for a possible fix for sock kernel wifi problem ?
Yes I tried to flash the kit kat bootloader
but no gain ..wifi still disabled
unless I did it wrong
The bootloader folder from civato hub contain 3 files
where should I put them ? And why there is no clear instructions for this?
Help please
thanks

Do you know how to flash a bootloader?
Anyway, if you use Civato's kernel you shouldn't have issues with wifi.

The thing is that civato kernel is the source of my problem
stock kernel is lag free but ..wifi disabled unless I use kit kat boot loader

The kit kat bootloader folder from civato contain 3 files ..
odin slots has :
Bl which I believe it's the bootloader
ap which is pda

And other options which I have now idea about
civato folder contain the following files:

Boot icon param.tar
Bootloader. Tar
Modem.tar

I used the attached odin 3.07 to flash only the bootloader. Tar because I don't know where to put the others
but I guess it didn't work since my wifi disabled problem didn't get fixed
any idea what should I do to restore the stock kernel with working wifi
thanks for the response man
