Been away from the forums for the last couple of weeks.
Just wanted to make sure this firmware is as fool proof as the previous version (.290) in terms of rooting.

Will enthusiasts still have to downgrade to .534 in order to obtain root (full or otherwise)?

I got mine using Sony Update Service, after it detected new update it asked if I want it to be installed normal or with factory reset.
It looks like when I updated from 4.2.2 to 4.3 there was no option like that.
