settings, battery, click where it says your battery percentage, than click screen under battery use details.

Today I turned off Google Now, auto-sync, background data, & location and kept brightness around 35%. Turns out without Google Now and their location services running you can get pretty good battery life with this phone (see attached screenshots). I think 5+ hours SOT is fine, although I did kind of have to restrict certain features of the phone to get that battery life.

As an experiment I uninstalled the following apps from my phone (on there but not used very much)

Paypal
Ebay
Deliveries
Amazon
Three inTouch (wifi calling, SMS)
Facebook
Facebook Messenger

Before with moderate use (3 hours SOT) my phone would need a charge after 17 hours and after making the changes above my phone hit again 3 hours SOT but 43 hours stand by time which is a massive improvement.

Phone is stock, not rooted (anymore) with no stock apps frozen or disabled.

Google now is on, location reporting is off, wireless off etc.
Current Phone
LG G3 16Gb
