I thought that this was the AT&T One X forums. I'm sorry.

As far as I know, 4.2.2 can only have a temp root, and cannot unlock the boot loader. I never should've updated the damn device. Lol

Ok I flashed TWRP to my phone, but once the recovery opens there are lots of options like install, wipe etc. But my phone touch neither volume up down are working to select anyone.. Can anyone help how to use the TWRP. If I press the power button then it says to unlock, But m not able to
Flashing CWM with this tools ends up with an error because in /data/recoveries/ we have twrp.img and recovery.img (tool directory) but it tries to flash cwm.img. go this to work by renaming recovery.img to cwm.img. fix in future updates thanks
Wrong...4.2.2 can unlock the bootloader just the same as any other version !
Dont know where you got this info from but i should delete that straight away !
htcdev.comHow can you unlock the bootloader than , i tried hansoon way didnt work
Hi, after I unlocked the phone using Hasoon and Htcdev I perm rooted and then flashed the twrp recovery and tried to go into recovery as it said but all I get is the white htc screen locked, if I hold down the power button for a while it goes off and then reboots as normal, tried factory reset as well and get the same. Is there anyone can help me please.
try erase cahce fastboot erase cashe and then try to go in recovery and what say your bootloader UNLOCKED?
Hi, yes bootloader unlocked and have done fastboot erase cache and it's just the same.
wich recovery you want to flash? Download Philz 5.15.9 and run the command fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img after this run the command fastboot erase cache and try to go in rcovery
That's the thing, tried to load that recovery using tool but came up with syntax error and wouldn't flash it.
Download from here Philz 5.15.9 extract recovery.img in your fastboot folder and run my commands
Hi, sorry about this but I must be getting too old, is the fastboot folder on my computer or my phone, don't seem to be able to find it, didn't have this problem with the old wildfire phones, thank you.
Hi guys, yesterday I got my Htc One X, bought it second hand. I want to install a custom rom on it.
When I wanted to download the Htc drivers using this toolkit, it takes me to a page which gives me an error message. Where should I download the drivers then?
The only reason I want to flash a custom rom, is because it seems the autofocus of the camera is not working properly, gives blurry images all the time, I wonder if flashing a custom rom will resolve this...
Nevermind, solved it, could anybody help me if this will help me with the camera issue? Or it's a hardware failure?
fastboot folder on your PC or in Hasson toll folder you must have fastboot.exe file there you must to put it
