I think I may have solved my problem getting my laptop to recognize my TouchPad as an MTP device. I found this page and followed the steps to "update" my driver: http://developer.android.com/tools/extras/oem-usb.html

The dumb Acer ADB driver is still there, but the TouchPad driver now works too. When I ejected the device ("You can safely eject you...") it refers to it as MTP. That doesn't sound exactly correct (I'd think it should still say "you can safely disconnect your TouchPad") but at least I was ale to see all the TouchPad files using Windows Explorer.

There probably is a correct (or more correct) fix... if so, let me know.
Android devices: Samsung Galaxy S III running AICP 5.0 (retired phone: HTC Thunderbolt running InfectedROM NuSense Eternity); Nexus 7 running SlimKat, HP TouchPad running Milaq CM11 nightly, Sony SmartWatch 2

The "end-gap greater that 1 percent of mmc" means that the partition information is for a "smaller" TP than what it really is (i.e. partition info for a 16G but it's really 32G). Technically, it is possible to rebuild the LVM volumes using the smaller size, but you would lose a large chunk a space, so I decided to give an error so it could be corrected.

Re-running tpdebrick using 32 for the size will likely fix it (unless they happen to have one of the rare 64G units).
Can anybody point me to tpdebrick with instructions on running on win 7? All I seem to be able to find are links to using it with Ubuntu.

TIA

Because that is how it's done. Follow the directions and hopefully you'll have your touchpad fixed. If the creator of that process, JC Sullins, wanted you to use Windows, he would have put instructions in the OP of that thread for it.

Is any of this USB MTP/PTP stuff related to the msm_otg kernel wakelock bug that prevents the TP from going to deep sleep after removing from charger (in my case, an hp Touchstone)?

This issue has been seen in CM9, CM10 and CM11. I'm just noticing it happens more frequently with the 06/25 ROM.

When I go to novaterm, the FS media doesn't exist
So I create it then use
mkdosfs -f 1 -s 64 /dev/store/media
dosfsck -r /dev/mapper/store-media
No error, but when I rerun webosdotor it failed always at 12%

I really don't understand what is the new error, it will take my skin

I use webosdoctor 3.0.0

Thanks in advance for your advice

I think v41 will work better for you. You will need to do a "Full Data Reset" with it.

Read about v41 in this post:

You can install Android without webOS. However, if you want to install both, you need to install webOS first (with current version of toolbox).

Remember, after doing a "Complete Data Reset" you must do a "create webOS volumes" before running webOS doctor.

See the second set of instructions on this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6&postcount=64

It even includes a script I created to fix the root certificates on webOS after the doctor completes (you will need to do this some way
and I think this is the easiest).
