Queston.

have anyone tested this mod with evo 9?

HELLO EVERYONE:

Last days i have been trying to use autostart manager and room tool box to stop apps wich i dont use, my problem is that on evo 9 it dosnt show me the list of applicacions on start up, any solution ?

Hi,

I would very much like to test this rom. But before I flash it I have one last question. I have currently still a locked bootloader. So if I read the installation instruction it says:

If you come from 681 or before
- After flash the rom and the Gapps
- Select power off in advanced menu recovery
- Flash by flashtool the good for your device 757ftf kernel by Nut or my flashable.zip...

What do you mean by "If you come from 681 or before"? I'm currently on stock kitkat from sony. And could you tell me what you are referring to with "flashtool"? Thank you very much for a quick clarification.

There are several guides on how to update your Z1c, I posted one earlier in this thread

If you are not on firmware .108 then you will need to have that installed before you start. Once you have proper Sony .108 rom, then you can flash the KitSlim and Gapps. With the .108 stock rom already on your machine before you flash the KitSlim, you don't need to flash the Nut kernel, and your bootloader will stay locked.
Unfortunately when changing firmware versions it's best practice to wipe data, if you do not then you may well encounter some unexpected problems.
The Nut kernel is for people who have unlocked bootloader, coming from another rom, or fw.
DO NOT flash dual recovery after flashing KitSlim, dual recovery is built in and flashing it again will result in bootloop.

Hi! The rom is great but i can't change the wallpaper form album. Every time i select a image, use as, wallpaper the album closes and says unfortunately album has stopped
:/
Is there a fix?

Latest Doom Kernal has been released. Evo9 Rom is most definitely running quicker!

Hmm - I installed kernel and soft-bricked the phone. Must have been something I did but I was sure I'm on the correct version (108).

Quick flash of stock, re-root then restore and all working again.

I believe the instructions on the OP are misleading (sorry jfxperias), I have had the exact same thing happen to me.
The flash kernel should be for people with unlocked bootloader, or coming from a different, not stock, rom

If you have stock rom with fw.108 (rooted and recovery), then you only need to flash Evo9 and Gapps. Not the kernel and definitely not Nuts recovery.
Hope that clears things up.
Maybe jfxperias can update the OP?

Sorry, I got this phone 2 days ago. So, what you say is that if I have unlocked bootloader I can flash the kernel too(I have unlocked the bl)? But it's not nessesary even with locked bl? Noob question, I know, but most things are different in LG phones.

    Sorry for not having updated after court... But I had not head to this... Thank you for your messages of support...
    So, not prison :D ;), but a good contravention :(...
    Anyway, I decided, with my wife of course of this changed ideas, and to going to Disneyland Paris...
    We'll see though, I'm not a fan of magic and fantastique world but it's beautiful anyway...

    Anyway, the update is now available, again sorry for the delay ... I will ask for help to see what is wrong with the latest update Phonebook in black...
