I see lots of screenshots on here where the voltage is about 3.5 to 3.7, but mine seems consistently at 4.2 and I'm wondering if that makes a big difference to screen on time? GSAM tells me I'm getting just short of 5 hours screen-on but my original M8 got me over 7 hours out of a charge and it showed lower voltage.

(I'm running stock, location services off, android device manager off, google now off, and using Tasker to turn off wifi and data when not needed and turn autosync off overnight....)
I'm sure it depends on cpu load. I would not be concerned with it. 👍

I think it depends on how much battery you have remaining.. If you notice in all the screenshots, the ones with more battery have a higher voltage..

Thanks. I'm not concerned, more just interested and hadn't noticed the battery level so that's a fair point as mine is actually just under 4v now.

Just short of five hours is easily double what my old One X gave, so I'm happy with that. Would love to get 7+hours like my first M8 (had to return it, faulty power button). No idea how two handsets of the same model with the same apps installed and the same settings can give such different battery life, though I have noticed my current handset is much slower to respond to changes in light levels, and doesn't change brightness as frequently as the first one... oh well....

I think it was the blinkfeed that has been killing my batt. Since disabling blinkfeed page, after 19hours of usage batt life still at 50%. Anyone experiencing this also?

I'm impressed how low your app usage is. Just about 19%. I can't get it under 35%. Can you take a screenshot of your detailed app usage ☺? Here is my best result so far, ARHD 10.2 / Elemental X 1.0.3
