heads up problem for whatsapp

hey i have been using the weekly 8, but when i enable heads up for whatsapp/ whatsapp+ the app force closes if i open it by clicking on the heads up notification...it works fine with heads up disabled or if opened by the whatsapp icon...everything else is fine!

On this rom (but also on other kitkat roms, like STE) 8/10 times is impossible make or receive a phone call, even setting low minfree values, setting heap size to 196m, manually closing apps, reboot phone daily or plus, etc. Is impossible listen voice (me and my interlocutor) and sometimes phone app is black (so is impossible end call) and end call button on notification bar isn't responsive... this is frustrating :eek:

I do have this problem..but not 8/10 times...maybe 2/10 times..but that's fine..BTW I have not set minfree values or heap size...i use the smartassv2 givernor...
but yes I do have problems running many games..usually games which are more than 40mb in size...but all in all..this ROM is pretty good...!

Just noticed this...when I want to uninstall an app...there is no option to uninstall it by holding on the app icon in app drawer and then the uninstall on the top side of home screen... I mean the uninstall and app info options dont show up on home screen...app can be uninstalled from settings..is there some setting to enable those options?

what's standard heap size value? 124m?

EDIT: i've set 124 heap size and all what you suggested: nothing to do... :(

Can you make next build based on m9 rather than just archy's
Ive noticed that most of the apps crash after a black screen in this and i believe this is due to just archy optimizations

Hi Guys . After downloading the necessary files from OTA updates where does those files are stored? Should I delete them manually from somewhere? Im just asking to save some space if its possible. Thank you.Great RoM.

- Use actual storage type of sdcard/usb
- Camera: remove the pause button when timelapse is on
- InCallUI: Enable home location feature
- Keyguard: add smart cover support
- Dialer: Fix can't make call problem
- Dialer: Allow enabling call recording
- TWRP: Ensure that MTP is enabled by default

I've been using this ROM for 2 months, but yesterday when I woke up, Nova launcher and Viber was gone
and there's error 492 on Play store so I can't download those apps. Some contacts got deleted every now and then too.
Help me how can I fix this?

Error 492 is not the ROM's fault. Try re-downloading the apps. It usually works for me. Never had any problems with contacts getting deleted.

I fixed it by wiping dalvik cache and cache, however there are still errors like

Unfortunately,the process com.android.phone has stopped
Unfortunately,the process com.android.process.acore has stopped

Is it ROM related? or is it from my phone's hardware?

U r using some other roms data. Backup ur stuff and perform full wipe.

I did a backup of like 1.4gb but only 500mb when I restored it.
Many files and apps were missing. I didn't know that twrp is different than cwm backup :(

After wiping, I restored some data, now I'm facing google play errors, cant download and install apps...
Im stuck

Google play will settle down. Let it sync and keep connected to network

    F.A.Q:
    Q) Is ART stable to use ?
    A)Test it for yourself , it is advisable to switch to ART after fresh install before installing any other Apps to reduce first boot time.

    Q) Can i restore my apps with Titanium Backup coming from another Rom ?
    A) Yes you can , remember " Don't restore System Apps "

    Q ) I have problems with Memory Management (keyboard FCs etc) ?
    A ) Install Performance Control App, set minfree values to Very Light. You can play around with these values as they suit you (WARNING: Be careful and always study what you are doing).

    Q ) Howto use OTA updates OR OTA updates not working?
    A ) Make Sure u have the build from http://builds.hubdroid.com/ installed
    1. Check for updates in Settings > About phone > System updates
    2. When a new build is released, It will automatically download and verify the new build
    3. If it does not work check that no firewall blocking OpenDelta. Disable any firewall
    4. Make sure you have space free on your internal sdcard to download the latest build
    5. Force Stop and Clear data of OpenDelta app and retry
    6. New build will be downloaded and when prompted press Flash Now

    Q ) Howto Enable Heads up Notifications ?
    A ) Either enable it with a longlick in the notification drawer on the notification, or in Settings->app->App info via a check box. As soon it is enabled for this app every notification from this app will show as heads up, as long as it is not an ongoing notification.

    How to install :
    If coming from some other Rom

    - Extract boot.img from zip and fastboot flash
    - Boot into TWRP
    - Wipe data,cache,system and dalvik cache
