In need of some software hacking advice

I just rooted my g1, and I have been wondering what is the most up to date rom/image to run on it. I see all different kinds, ranging from RC33, ADP and RC8. Jesus freak is one I found a lot of hype from. I just don't know which developer to use and which version. Can anyone help me out?

Leave a opinion on best one to use and maybe links to a download site to get the image.

the only 3rd party rom i have used is cyanogen mod. i thought i was going to have to flash atleast a few before i found one to stay with, but i lucked out. been debating trying a few others, but so far im real happy. looks better, runs quicker... have a few things i dont like but i can change them in time

yeah but which build? RC33? ADP? RC8? and im confused on how to uninstall JF if i have to. Do i just do a wipe?factory reset from my recovery screen?

how did you flash you g1, i downloaded the DREAIMG-RC29.zip file and when I camera button and power on it gives me the grayish screen for a spilt moment and says couldn't find file! How do I get from point a?
