ok ill give it a shot. one question though, my hboot was never upgraded or anything. it came with 2.18 and still has it. would it still be better to downgrade it or leave it alone??

You have to downgrade it to S-OFF.

EDIT: You could try some of the newer S-OFF methods like Rumrunner or Firewater, but I'm pretty sure they won't work on an old MTD device like Supersonic. That's the only way you wouldn't have to downgrade HBOOT.

ok. got ra recovery installed but how can i flash back to gb if i cant mount my sdcard???

I thought you got it working, just inconsistently. How's you reflash KK?

I'd try the SD card fix again just to be sure.

I got the card yo work once and was able to flash kk. Since I'm back on ra recovery I can't get it to mount at all. I'll try the fix again. Adb isn't cooperating with me either. I'm thinking hardware failed.
