i have tried twice now followed http://sadevil.org/blog/2012/12/23/m...an-ota-update/ completely and still no joy cant seem to flash firmware zip

Hello is there any way to stop the nagging updates?
I gave my phone to a friend to travel in the US with and he is getting tired of this and needs a quick fix. Even something with the help of a PC would be a fine as long as it is relatively simple.
