No none that I see wished I could over clock the kernel for him but I don't know of another kernel that would work with this
Thanks for letting me know. Can you comment on the battery life?
I don't know if it's the Baked rom but feel like get good battery life with it but really want to flash this one. What are your thoughts? Still miss some of the Bluetooth integration though. Plus seems like I can't upgrade the Google things.

No Mobile Network after CWM Backup/Restore

This is something that has happened for me going back to prior andriod versions of apparently AOSP roms. I backup the rom in CWM (or TWRP in the past) and (in this most current case) installed a non-stock TW rom. When I restore my backup there are no signal bars and based band is "unknown" in settings.

I've tried the following:
1. manually formatting the usual partitions; data, cache, and system and also wiped dalvik.
2. flashing several of the newer modems from Rwilco's repo.
3. flashing garwynn/evilkoncepts ljc carrier restore.
4. flashing the rom itself and then restoring over that without any wiping and vice versa
5. flashing the rom itself and doing advanced restore and only install data, and on a seperately try only installing system

With the latter two (4, 5) it brings back data services but the back button doesn't work and nor does it work when i turn on the onscreen buttons and in one instance the home button did not work as well. when doing #4 it will also cause things to be missing in the drop down menus.

Any ideas for a fix on this?

What recovery type and version are you using? Philz 6.07.9 is one of the best. Also the new twrp 2.8.0.0 is a good version to use.

Thanks for taking a look. I am using CWM v6.0.4.3 when getting this problem. I also tried TWRP 2.7.1.0 and 2.7.0.0 and neither would boot into recovery; just kept getting the "samsung galaxy note 2" start screen. TWRP 2.6.3.7 did boot up but I still got the same problem on restore; no mobile network service.

I see TWRP showing 2.8 on their main page but I do not see it available in their downloads section for the SPH-L900.

Can someone confirm that Philz backup/restore works without issue for the L900 on these AOSP roms?

    DISCLAMER

    Your warranty is now void.

I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
