Build 7 booted and worked okay on my old n7000, but unfortunately with very unstable wifi, so for now back to stable build 5.

Edit: back to stable build 5, but wifi is still very unstable

Edit 2: wifiproblem was a local network issue and not related to Slimkat. So back to build 7 and everything works fine

Is there a way to enable it in order to run a TRIM, since my MMC chip is supposedly sane? Or do I have to flash a kernel that supports MMC_CAP_ERASE? If so, what kernal can I use?

EDIT: Heads Up work. As anyona can read on weekly 6.2 Changelog:

Quote:

Heads up is for important notifications and for nothing more. We do not use blacklists or similar or do not need to parse long settings values.....with ease you can simply enable it on the apps you want with a long press on the notification.

So any aplication can be edited to show heads up notif. =)

How do you compare SlimBean build 2.2 and SlimKat 7? Wich one is better, faster, less buggy?

The one that you choose. "best" threads" are against XDA rules.

I tested the SlimKat as well, so I figured I'll stick with the SlimBeam build 2.2, it's the fastest and frankly quite similar.

SlimKat freezing
Hello,

I cam from the last stable build of Slim Bean
I just flashed SlimKat Build 5 OFFICIAL 4078 and Slim_mini_gapps.4.4.4.build.7.x-187.

Everything is working great but sometimes it would just freeze up. I don't know why. It would freeze up on Waze, Chrome, Facebook. Would you know of any reason why?

Also before flashing SlimKat, I read somewhere that I needed to flash first raw_kernel_r4_j43.zip so I did it first.

I looked for this solution because when I flashed SlimKat straight from SlimBean, it is not working, it just stopped at the GT-N7000 logo.

Now after flashing all three, it is working but i am experiencing some freezing.

Thank you for the help.
