Hi,

I tried to flash the suggested ROM but it looks like it has failed and I have the HTC logo on white background and no more.

It says:
Code:
>>> Setting permissions
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /data/media/0/ROMs/One_5.11.401.10_deodexed.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted.
I've read it could be a wrong recovery but that's the only one I am able to run without errors. I'm using PhilZ.

Thanks. Do you know some other download link? I couldn't even find a md5 code to verify the file integrity.

bad recovery (it's actually mentioned in the faq sticky), use twrp 2.6.3.3
... 2.8 series should work too i think (i haven't personally tested 2.8series, only updated recovery today and no flashes yet )

Hi guys: nothing to do.
I've flashed the 4.4.2 ROM (One_5.11.401.10_deodexed.zip) + Bulletproof using TWRP, but this is what happens when I try to follow the firewater instructions:
Code:
root@m7:/ # su
root@m7:/ # chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/firewater

[HERE] /data/local/tmp/firewater is going to be deleted (who deletes it???)

root@m7:/ # /data/local/tmp/firewater

[nothing happens]

root@m7:/ # ls /data/local/tmp/
boot.img
elementalx.log
elementalx.log.2
init.rc
setpropex

[firewater disappeared]
What the hell is happening?

Maybe the only one error I've done is to not perform a full wipe prior flashing. I've just cleaned cache and dalvik cache.

EDIT: the same described here happens (but I'm not sure about the proposed solution to download directly on the phone).
