Thank you! May I ask why go for 10i when there are already 10j roms available? Those should be an even newer update, or do they have issues?

Some 10i versions have a younger build date with a younger kernel than 10j. So some think that these 10i roms are newer.

We discussed that earlier (read back or search), the letter means not much. You have to check the kernel build date (Secret menu\settings\version info i guess) to make sure u are using the latest version. J versions are from July, the i version I'm using has a kernel from Aug.26.

well, I successfully flashed V10j, but then I also restored my LG PC Suite backup: now my phone is exactly the way it was pre-update, except for the updated software! This was a very comfortable solution, does it have any problems/drawbacks I don't know about?
